THE MAGNUM far surpasses
all other safes available today. Handcrafted with the highest
quality and latest technological innovations, the Magnum provides the most
advanced security and fire protection in the business. The body consists
of 3/16" thick seamless carbon steel. The door is 3/8" thick
plate-steel reinforced with a 1" laminate steel edge. It's also
reinforced by three 1/4" thick by 3-1/2" wide steel strips and ball-bearing
hard plate. 1-1/2" diameter bolts surround the door perimeter,
sliding smoothly in gold anodized aluminum bolt guides, driven by
the industry's best gear-drive mechanism. It's secured with
three relockers plus a proprietary interlocking bolt system. The
door alone on the Magnum Plus weighs over 500 pounds. When it comes
to fire protection, two layers of 5/8" thick U.L. Listed fire board line
the interior surfaces, with ever seam sealed and taped. A heat-activated
Palusol door seal expands in a fire to fully seal the door. The Magnum
carries the only 1638 degree Fahrenheit / 45 minute Omega rating
in the industry (standard) and a 1700 degree Fahrenheit / 60 minute rating
with an additional ceramic fire lining (optional, Inferno). The exterior
is graced with timeless styling, elegant external hinges, the renowned
National Security logo and painted pinstripes and door graphics.
The finish is available in seven lustrous hand painted high-gloss colors.
The distinctive 5-point handle, lock and hinge caps are plated in 24K gold.
Inside you'll find a full upholstered and padded interior, covered in your
choice of rich silver or beige pin-dot velour fabrics. Incandescent
lighting
illuminates the interior, a standard feature on all Magnum models.
Functionality is provided by the patented 4-in-1 Flex interior,
a built in pistol rack and a hidden compartment in the floor.
